⁣Elizaveta Nikonova reimagines Nirvana’s iconic “Smells Like Teen Spirit” as a brooding, layered performance—recorded entirely live in one take using the BOSS RC-505 as a multi-track recorder (not a looper).

The track was built in three distinct passes:
🎸 First pass: Lead vocals and guitar (Ibanez, processed through Positive Grid Spark 2)
🥁 Second pass: Live electronic drums (NUX DP-2000)
🎤 Third pass: vocals

Everything was captured in real time with zero overdubs or post-editing—just pure, sequential layering. Vocals and guitar were recorded through a Shure SM58 Beta and Positive Grid Spark 2 for clarity and presence.

This version replaces raw grunge energy with atmospheric tension, offering a fresh, introspective take on a 90s anthem—while keeping its defiant soul intact.
