I used to feel so sad on days filled with rain,
And long for the sunshine to come back again,
But now with a thought of you my spirits soar,
If I’m feeling low, you are my cure.

And all that I need is your tender embrace,
To brighten my day, put a smile on my face.

The Musical "Rosie" is based on the inspirational true story of Miss Rosie Boote, a poor English girl who, on the death of her father when she was 7 years old, was sent away to be brought up in a remote Irish convent before following her dream of becoming an actress and singer, living a dramatic and inspirational life in Victorian London’s West End.
